There are many resources you can access for assistance if you or someone you know has been sexually assaulted.

Harvard Resources:

The Office of Sexual Assault Prevention and Response: 731 Holyoke Center - This Office provides confidential, 24-hour assistance to students seeking access to information and resources. 617-495-9100

Response: Staffed by women counselors who deal with rape, date rape, incest, abuse and sexual harassment, is open for drop-ins from 9 p.m. to midnight in Lowell House basement (Room E-013). Calls are answered from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. (5-9600).

Harvard University Police Department: Sensitive Crimes Unit, 24-hour access. Call 617-495-1976 to make a confidential report.

Boston and National Resources:

Boston Area Rape Crisis Center (BARCC): Provides free, 24 hour services to survivors of rape and sexual assault, their friends and family.(617)492-RAPE, 99 Bishop Allen Drive, Cambridge, MA 02139 (Central Square)
